Induction before due date?

Doctor is recommending an induction 4 days before my due date, baby and blood pressure are good. Any one else being induced before their due date?

If there are no medical reasons than I wouldn’t do it. Some doctors like to induce to work around their personal schedules and not put the best interest of the patient at heart.

What’s the doctors reason? I refuse to be induced unless I’m 2 weeks late and baby or myself are having issues. I had my first son at 41+3.

I'm being induced at 39 weeks because I went through IVF. Apparently it's a medical indication now. I'm not mad, this kid needs to come out!

I'm 37 weeks and 4 days, I have my appointment yesterday. The doctor mentioned that if baby doesnt come by my 39 week appointment then an induction will be scheduled. I've always had my babies early but if that's not the case this time around I will decline an induction until 41 weeks unless medically necessary. I would love my baby to come any day now but there is no major rush and I'm trying to enjoy my last moments being pregnant while I and (and my sanity of have two kids before 3 haha)

I’m being induced at 39 weeks and having stretch and sweeps from 38. I’m 37+1 now. I’m being induced due to medical reasons though. Is there a reason why you’re being induced?

With my first an induction was scheduled during my 39th week due to blood thinning medications I have to be on while pregnant. That turned into a c-section, and I’ve opted for a repeat c-section versus a VBAC this time around. I’m scheduled for my surgery 39w1d.

I'm getting a growth scan on Thursday to check his size and possibly talk about an induction. I'll be 38+5 at my appointment next week so if they wanna induce at 39 let's go lol 🤷🏻‍♀️ my first labor was 2.5 hours long and I would feel so much better knowing I would have time to go and drop off my two year old before, take a shower before, make sure my husband is off work etc I'm just scared to go spontaneously and not even make it to the hospital this time or give birth without my husband there
