Losing my virginity tonight. (I'm 17)

I've been dating my boyfriend for 3 years now but we have abstained from anything besides making out at most all that time until we reached the age of consent which is like 16/17 (Yep, abstaining is possible believe it or not) We decided not to do anything when we were 16 though because we wanted to be dating for longer. We turned 17 in January. His bday was on the 31st and mines was on the 19th. I'm really nervous but also excited. What tips can you give me? I'm on birth control (But i really hate it)
