birth control recommendations

hi i’m currently 17. my family doesn’t have health insurance and my mom doesn’t trust hospitals/medicine. she’s an essential oils kinda mom. i’m unable to get birth control. however when i turn 18 i’m moving out and going to college. i would like to get some form of birth control (outside of condoms, abstinence and pulling out) to keep myself safe. i’m not allowed to see the gynecologist yet. i was just wondering if you guys had some recommendations on what’s affordable/more convenient for someone in my case. i’ll go to the gyno when i can go without a parent, but i’d like to plan ahead and get personal feedback. thanks <3
