Is this my period or what?! HELP.

So i got my iud out in November around the beginning. I didn’t bleed much and never bled for a few months after that. Now I’m February I have been bleeding for like the whole month almost. It started out like very very very light. Hardly anything when I wiped and then it was like a light flow. It finally slowed down the past few days but me and my SO had sex tonight and it picked right back up. When I peed, the water was red. Is this just a long period or what?! Has anyone ever experienced this?
