Polyhydramnios

Hello ladies, I’ve had a beyond stressful day filled with lots of emotions. I had my 28 week appointment and was a general amazing day. Was going to get my ultrasound and to measure my baby and some fibroids that I have. Now I’ve got another added problem. The doctor comes back to tell me that I have a lot of amniotic fluid. A sign of Polyhydramnios. She said I have a mild case but will need to be evaluated 2x a week. I googled what it was, since I’ve never even heard of it and it just puts me on shaky grounds. I took my gestational test two weeks ago. My blood sugar is normal, however, I’m reading that it’s a sign of maternal diabetes? I’m just seriously confused and concerned. Are there any other moms out there with this problem and still had their baby? I can’t think straight. Doctor said one of the conditions is that baby could pass away. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I’m horrified and can’t put my mind at ease.
