We figured out how to get them colostrum (goat udders)

So update on the goats here

2 of the babies were born yesterday and they have 24 hours to get colostrum.

Well momma goat had a full uterine prolapse and her whole back end is completely numb from the vet so she can’t stand up to nurse. She couldn’t stand before hand because she was prolapsed. We were getting worried so we went out there and showed the babies the tit and...

She’s like thank god dude I’m engorged. That colostrum sprayed down their throats.

Also we think that our other goat who lost her babies is trying to foster the youngest baby. I think that when she had her 3rd, she prolapsed and was in so much pain that she ignored the baby and this goat stepped up. They can actually lactate for a “foster baby” If they want to. Little ones been going off away from its mom and this one follows and guards it.
