This is my soul furbaby.

I’ve had many pets growing up, and I loved them, but this girl... she was my baby.

I got her in 2004. I was 12 years old. My dad came home one day and her head was poked out of his overalls front pocket.

Since he brought her home, she slept next to me every night.

When she was a year old, she got really sick. She’d throw up, was really weak, would howl in pain, and would just fall over. The vet said she had the parvovirus. And to not get our hopes up. She couldn’t lift her head, or hardly move at all. The vet gave her some medicine to give by oral syringe. I gave her the medicine, but she was having trouble eating and I was worried sick. I barely slept. He gave us several of the syringes, so I put a piece of her favorite treat (Pupcorn) in some water, to get it soggy, and then used the syringe to help her eat/drink. Within a week and a half, she bounced back to her normal self. ❤️ I kept those treats around after that. She never went a day without getting one lol. She’d spin, sit, open presents when told, whine to open presents under the tree, she was a quick learner. Even in her old age.

I made her a swing out of plywood 😂 she loved swinging with me, so I figured I’d make her own.

She loved lounging in baby floats. She’d get excited when I’d ask her if she wanted to get in the pool.

My late partner (he passed three months after she did) took her and I to the beach for the first time a few months before she passed away from cancer. I miss them both so much. It was 2 weeks after my son was born:’( I was hoping my son would get a few years with her.

I was hoping I could throw her a sweet 16 party and get her one of those remote controlled kids ride on cars. She would have loved that.
