Tax audit. Anyone else being audited?!

I only made $24,000 last year, claimed my daughter and supposed to be getting $4950 back... until today I found out they are auditing me and holding it for another 60 days. Freaking out a tad.

If you are getting the earned income credit that is a red flag for audits.

My husband and I are getting audited. I had my first daughter 12/28/18 and then got pregnant right away and had my second daughter 11/22/19. They said we are getting audited. I think the government thinks it’s weird we added another child just 11 months apart but she is real! I wish they could just come and see that I did have a mother baby! Plus, every other year we get to claim my stepson so we added 2 extra kids this year. We filed February 15th and still haven’t gotten our money yet!

I've been audited (I'm Canadian though, but I think it works similarly). It's not that bad, just give them what they ask for as quickly as you can

Not this year, but previously.   If you did your taxes in good faith, it's ok.  You might have to pay some extra, but there's not usually a penalty unless you try to ignore it.  
If they charge late fees, you can write a letter asking them to waive the late fees.

My coworker is! She's was one of the first people to file and hasnt recieved her money. The only thing she did different was her ex husband claimed one of their kids on his taxes instead of her claiming all 4
