Anxiety while starting the pill

I’m looking for as little judgement as possible as I’m aware this isn’t the best thing to do.

My boyfriend and I have been having unprotected sex recently, and although he never actually finishes inside me, I still have massive anxiety about my chances in getting pregnant.

I’m on the pill and I’ve been relatively good at taking it, but I’m only finishing my first month of taking it and my period was supposed to start this week, but I’ve been having symptoms of my period.

I guess I’m just wondering if the pill offsets my period while adjusting to my body and everything? I don’t know.
