Got Herpes from a Guy who claims he is clean? wow

so the person i’m 95% sure gave me herpes denied having it completely and said they’ve been tested ect and it was defs not them. i had my first outbreak exactly a week after sleeping with him for the first time.

if it wasnt him then i assume my ex boyfriend gave it to me which is very unlikely because we were eachothers first sexual partners and i dont think he ever cheated on me and doubt he did (we were together for 3 years and i never had any symptoms). that relationship ended 1-2 years before i slept with this other another man and they are the only two people to date that i’ve slept with.

it leaves me feeling lied to and betrayed by the only men i’ve slept with. i havent slept with anyone since and i was diagnosed about 2 years ago. i now have to tell people i have an STD although i dont even sleep around. so unfair!
