I left work early bc of the virus!

I understand that some people are more concerned with COVID-19 than others but certain precautions should be taken regardless. I also understand that I may be a bit irrational bc of hormones, but A coworker of mine was talking about how her husband came in contact with someone who has the virus over the weekend and “he’s perfectly fine”. I couldn’t believe it and it seemed like she was kind of bragging about it. I tried to focus on my work but I was just so upset. I couldn’t focus, I didn’t feel comfortable, so I left early.
