Idk who needs to hear this but... it’s ok to turn the TV on today

I try really hard to limit screen time in our house & follow aap recommendations in regards to screen time. (Not to say my kid never watches tv, he does) That said as most of us are currently in social isolation & could be for some time. So I am reminding myself that there are more important than screen time recommendations, like my mental health & parenting with love & patience, both of which require I get a break from time to time.

Make sure you are finding ways to give yourself a break! Typically during nap, I clean, ya know what I did yesterday? Watched trashy tv 😝.
