My baby boy turned 5 months 2 weeks ago I wanna start introducing solids with what should I stay with vegetables ? Or baby food

Shouldn’t be until 6m due to gut maturity. 
All ready signs need to be met. 
Those include: at least 6m old, sitting UNASSISTED for at least 1min, lost the tongue thrust reflex, has chewing motion, and has actual interest in eating foods. 
All major health orgs say not until around 6m.

Veggies, I started with potato, squash, pea and carrots. I started at 3months ish

Veggies. Introduce slowly. One every few days with no blends because if there’s an allergic reaction you need to be able to know what food it’s from.
