Found a small Michael Hill box??? What should I do?

Hi everyone! 💕

My partner and I have been together nearly 4 years and just purchased our first house, a small but old farm house we moved in about 4 months ago! Today I noticed that there was a mouse in one of our cupboards (gross I know but typical in farm houses) as I moved the cupboard, a box that had all of his old work clothes in it fell out and onto the floor.. I decided to pick the box and contents up and that was when I noticed a small purple Michael hill box.. I didn’t look inside the box I just put it all back in the big box and back into the cupboard. However my partner is very particular in where everything goes and how it’s packed up, I know that he will notice this box has been moved and tampered with... Should I tell him what I seen and how it happened or just leave it?! Any advice would be great! I am freaking out!
