Breastfeed or formula?

Question

I breastfeed my baby till 2weeks then I altered with formula, because breastfeeding take all my energy and It give me headache and neck pain.
But I wanted to breastfeed him. And he love breastfeeding rather then formula.
What should I do?
If I don't breastfeed him will my milk stop producing?
I am a first time mom so I have no idea about anything.

Same! Started giving formula just at night and pumping to give him breast milk in the day and just started the gradual transition to all formula so there is no guessing factors if he was getting enough! It’s gone well for me and we found his fussiness was a lot from breast milk? 
Do what’s best for you try a few things and see what works best!

If you stop breastfeeding your milk will stop. Have you thought about pumping? Or looking into different holds for when baby is breastfeeding

I have a three week old and felt my experience was similar, I really want to breastfeed. I was in so much pain got myself a case of Bell’s palsy. I just took a break from straining my body to breastfeed, I pumped and do feedings on breast here and there so he can help stimulation. Main goal is to ensure baby has enough food to maintain healthy weight. He still latch’s but we do sometimes fight. I offer breast during day with lots of support around me such as pillows and my brestfriend pillow. Then at night since I’m usually drained, hubs gives baby bottle until early am.
