Slight pain down there.

Okay ladies I have a question, is it normal to have slight pain and irritation when putting a finger in you a day after having sex? I lost my virginity yesterday and i didn’t feel this until this morning when I woke up and it’s slightly started to feel better but it’s still there I guess. We were protected! Just a lil stressed because I don’t want it to be something serious and was wondering if it was normal to feel like this afterwards. Thanks in advance.
