Religion for children

I used to be a believer but all the nasty stuff you learn growing up what religious institutions do, I stepped out and stopped paying church taxes.

I saw an episode of a Orthodox family with a 13month old baby who before eating food or snack she had to pray otherwise food was taken away. I think this is some sick practice by narrow minded individuals where a child does nothing wrong only to be punished.

My baby's religious status is she's got none and you can teach to make a conscious decision by teaching the virtues of right and wrong, having an open mind about life.

Sure the bible and others have some nice, educational, myths and stories to tell but everyone should be free to live life without having religion or believers oppress the next generation.
