Bacterial vaginitis

Have any of you had an issue with this while pregnant?

This is my second pregnancy and it began during my second trimester. Noticed a terrible ammonia smell and liquid discharge.

My doctor has prescribed two different types of medication (vaginal gel and pills) but neither worked.

It’s honestly disgusting and I feel like I stink all the time. I’ve been showering twice a day (which I usually only shower once) but it doesn’t make a difference.

Has anyone found something that helps? Also, I was reading online (I know you really shouldn’t google medical advise but I was just curious) and it says that bacterial vaginitis is often linked to premature birth and low birth rate. Has anyone experienced this?
