Enlistment DQ

Hi,

I’m currently in the process of enlisting for the Air Force. My concern is that I got the BCG vaccine as a child therefore I test positive for TB, both PPD and quantiferon gold blood test although my chest X-ray is negative and my lungs are clear. According to my chest X-ray, I do not have any radiographic evidence of active TB.

I just informed my recruiter of all this today so I’m yet to receive any response.

Has anyone ever had a similar experience or know if this will be a disqualifying factor?
