TWW on 1st IUI

Misty

We're doing my IUI at my gynochologist due to cost reasons. I don't do ultrasounds or blood work or any of that but I could do ultrasounds if I choose. My ovulation is normal and my husband's count is great just a little bit slow on motility. I did my first unmedicated IUI on the 21st at 8:20 am. I got my positive opk test on the 20th at 2:55 pm. I used clear blue digital as well as pregmate strips and they both gave me the same result. As soon as I got that I did my IUI next morning. My opk was still slightly positive around 6pm after my IUI but than the rest of the evening and today clear until tonight the lh surge has gone down drastically. I am supposing that I hit it just right but on a 30 day cycle I never usually ovulate on CD 15 OR 16 so I am just hopeful that it worked. My doctor informed me that next time we will use clomid. And I'm still debating if looking at follicles on an ultrasound are worth it because he claims it not to be? And he doesn't do back to back IUI. I am just hopeful that this will all work out this month or even the next five as my doctor is willing to do 6 of these before referring me to the all expensive RE's and by than coronavirus will be over with. But I honestly don't have good credit or 12 grand up front. I wonder if they can suggest a type of insurance that will help? Or if they accept payments as a credit for up to a year or so before proceeding with the procedure? I guess paying $250 for the stupid consultation will tell all. I just don't want to have to go that route as I am a full time student and my husband is a mechanic. But I will have money I can put down every few months 🥴...ohhh what a struggle it is to have a dream sometimes. My fingers are crossed baby dust to all! I would have loved to BD with the DH but.. I've been cramping non stop since my IUI. And it's been 2 days... Hopefully that just means something positive. I'll continue taking my fertilaid in hopes of that helping as well! Good luck guys baby dust** ✨✨✨
