My brother: a rant

I was talking to my brother today, he just recently started coming back around the family, that's a whole story that I won't get into lol, anyways, I was telling him about the job that I wanna have when I finish school, I wanna be a nurse anesthetist and I'm in my first year of college right now, I told him about this and how it's one of the highest paying jobs in the medical field. He went into this long ass tangent about how I would be the bread winner for my family or I would have to marry someone with a better job, I said I was fine with being the person who makes the most money out of me and my future husband and he went off saying how he doesn't believe in that and how I would be fine marrying and supporting a low life, my boyfriend right now is African American and my brother has some views on that🙄 and he went on and on about how a man makes a house and a woman makes a house into a home, and I was like "you're barking up the wrong tree" and he was all upset about it, saying how women should be able to be stay at home mother's if they want to and I was like "and men should be able to be stay at home dad's if they want to" long story short my own brother doesn't support my decision to go into one of the highest paying medical professions, he doesn't support my interracial relationship even though I've told him time and time again how happy I am, and he doesn't even support me going into college, saying how women shouldn't have to get higher education and should have a man support them🙄 so yeah looks like me and my brother aren't gonna be agreeing on a lot of things.
