Sorry, but not really

(yeah I already posted this in a different group and yeah I've posted multiple times about my sister, but this is the rant page so 🤷🏻‍♀️)

My sister is P I S S E D that I won't let her come over tomorrow for my 21 birthday. I live with our parents and they aren't taking this as serious as I am, but they both agree that it is my choice if I want her over on my birthday.

Her boyfriend (which she lives with) still works 6 days a week so yeah, no, I don't want her over here. She not only invited herself, but her boyfriend over the house FOR MY BIRTHDAY without even asking me. Normally I wouldn't have an issue, but considering we're in the middle of a global pandemic, no thank you.

Told her we can video chat so it's like she's there and she said "I am so tired of your shit". Meaning how the precautions I'm taking for my own health because of my immune system (example; when she comes over and I stay in my room the whole time and don't spend time with her). Since this pandemic began I've been taking it seriously. I've tried to make her understand, but she is a 25 year old woman stuck in the mindset as a 16 year old and will not see my point of view.

Like hey I get it, you're unhappy that I don't want you there on my 21st bday. Honestly though, half the time she's over here we just end up getting mad at each other because as I said before, she has the mind of a 16 year old while I am mature past my age (my parents/grandmother/friends have said that, not just me). On top of that she has anger issues and has physically and verbally abused me in the past, so excuse me for not wanting her over. If it were a public setting that's fine, but she does not know how to be civil when we're home.

Even if she did somehow manage to be civil, I can read energies very well and about 90% of the time it's negative. She'd put everyone in a bad mood and I just don't get why she doesn't get it.

So, I'm sorry if I hurt her feelings, but I rather protect my mental and physical health.
