Copper IUD Bleeding Post-Period

I got a copper iud end of December 2019. It has been about 4 months next week since I’ve had it. I had my period April 7-14. Since the 14 though, I have had small bleeding every single day. It’s not a lot but I do use a panty liner for the whole day so it doesn’t stain my underwear. My doctor says it’s a normal side effect but has anyone else experienced this? It’s already April 26 and it’s starting to drive me crazy.
