Bladder Pain Synsrome (IC)

Does anyone else in the community have Interstitial Cystitis? Also known as bladder pain syndrome? I’m trying to find my sisters is pain.

If you have it and don’t realize it here’s how it feels:

You have several symptoms of a UTI. For me that’s burning urination (usually at the end of the flow) extreme urge to pee when you only have a few drops in the tank, and just all around uncomfortable burning/pain in your urethra or bladder while going about you day.

When tested you have no uti or bacteria in labs. It is just a syndrome that freaking sucks and you have to live with maybe having several bad days a month or sometimes no pain for a while. It a horrendous box of chocolates and just in case there are others dealing with this, I feel your pain and I’m here to talk about it.

How long have you been dealing with this? For me it started when I was a toddler. My parents tried everything to help me but were defeated because to this day it seems doctors don’t take this seriously enough to find a treatment. Some doctors will even think you are imagining the pain. Anyway I hope this post helps someone.
