Saving up for a house eventually

So I’m trying to save up for a house. My ideal dream would be to move in with my boyfriend one day he is 26 and I am 25.

We both stil live with our parents but have discussed moving in together. We’ve been dating for over a year.

I have almost 9,000 saved and my goal is to save a lot more .

I don’t have the best paying job. He makes way more than I do. But I’m taking classes to become an RBT and I’m hoping my pay will increase.

I have been doing instacart on the side but since the pandemic I have stopped that.

We wouldn’t want a fancy house or anything crazy. Just something small and simple that is a good starter house.
