I'm 17 currently and I have a online relationship both of us are planning on meeting up next summer once the pandemic blows over.

My girlfriend is very supportive also loving towards me than any of my previous partners I had online and in real life.

My mom is accepting and told me she would love me regardless but I'm hesitant due to someone in our family coming out and doing horrible mistakes, this person according to my family is a "role model" since she's not so much older than me.

I get very scared because my family will think I followed in her footsteps and probably cause drama, I don't know what to do about coming out or when I bring my girlfriend home to my mom and siblings to meet.

I just want to show my mom my girlfriend and for her to know I'm okay.
