tampons questions!

hey all, so this is weird for me to post but i’ve never used a tampon and have some dumb questions i’d like to get answered.

1.how do you know where to get it in/how far to go.

2. can you swim with them for a long time

3. if you have a heavy flow..?

4. what if you have clots?!

5. this ones rlly dumb, but do you have to take it out when going to the bathroom?

6. any other advice?
