Getting together with family

Are you still getting together with immediate family during this pandemic? I live in Alberta where they’re telling everyone to only hang out with people living in your own home. I’ve been following that 100% and so has my family. My husband on the other hand has been hanging out with his brother and now his mom wants us all over for dinner Sunday night for Mother’s Day. Her birthday was last month and I guess she was upset that none of us planned anything.

Am I being rude for following this social distance thing? I’m just trying to keep myself and my children healthy. My youngest is only 9 months old.
