Out of control 21 month old, please advise

I feel like my 21 month old is different than others. He has a mean streak and bites, punches, kicks, and hurts others when he’s mad. Sometimes it’s random. He will throw toys at people’s faces and at our dog. He is constantly destroying whatever is in his reach. Lamps will be thrown, things will be taken off shelves and thrown and broken. Everything’s out of his reach but he still finds ways to climb and get things. We tried containing him with baby gates but he is so strong and determined he has knocked them all over, or climbed over them. When I try to play with him or color with him, he just ends up throwing the stuff at me or snapping the crayons and throwing them. He screams constantly if something isn’t given to him the very second he wants it. He doesn’t really play, he just throws and breaks his toys or purposely tries to find other things to smash them with. I don’t really know what I’m doing wrong? I try to talk to him, I redirect him, I’ve tried time out. I actually have a degree in child psychology but I’m at a loss with my own child.

Edited to add- I’d take him to the pediatrician but his office is currently closed due to Covid.
