How do u stop comfrot eating?

I eat becuase I'm sad and feel fat and ugly but then stupidly eat and regret it and best myself up 
Anyone been in this situation love to hear from you

This is me! I took a picture of myself, printed it out and stuck it on the fridge door 😂 it worked, I go walk on the treadmill whenever I find myself wondering to the kitchen 😂😂

One thing I heard is to wait 30 minutes from when the craving hits and if you still want it then have a small snack or something healthy. Cause usually after so long you'll forget about it. 
You can try to replace the habit with healthier habits. Like eat something healthy when you want something unhealthy. Eventually you'll get used to it and you'll enjoy the healthy snacks more.

I instantly go to my support groups online when I feel this way. I look through other people’s progress pictures and remind myself what consistency does for me. You could also look up healthier meals on Pinterest. Normally I find something that looks and sounds good and then I’ll just eat that instead.

You could also try to replace the eating habit completely with a different activity. If you notice you want to eat, think about if you are really hungry or if you are comfort eating. If it’s comfort eating replace it with a non-food behavior like a hobby or some sort of self care that makes you happy or feel good (face mask, mani, read a book, etc). 
If you think it’s serious enough you could talk to a therapist or mental health professional. They can help you learn when and why you go to food for comfort. Depending on the reason, you could learn some new techniques to deal with the issues causing the comfort eating, or, if maybe it’s caused due to past trauma dealing with that trauma may reduce your desire to comfort eat.
Try to remember you’re not a bad person and that even the “healthiest” person makes mistakes. Also, you don’t have to eat perfectly all the time. The healthiest people I know still allow themselves to eat “unhealthy” foods, it’s just all about balance.
