Would you let your family around 8 week old baby?

Both my parents tested positive for covid 19 with no symptoms. They have officially tested negative for the virus now. Do you think it’s ok to let them around my 8 week old daughter?

It's much safer to let your baby around ppl who've gotten over it & know they don't have it anymore than anyone else, who could have it & not know.

Just because they have tested negative now, I wouldn't risk letting them around such a small baby. I would wait a month or 2

In a couple of weeks, yes I would be okay with it. If you don't want them holding the baby, that's valid though. With most viruses, once you have it, you can't contract the same strain again.

The virus isnt like chicken pox. Its not a one and done kind of thing. I would say give them two weeks. If they have no symptoms have them wash theirs hands and wear a mask. Its your discretion. A baby is still trying to grow its defences and immune system. So just be cautious.
