Not contreversial but I’m starting to question this. Do y’all keep your bag of sugar closed once you open it?

Random and silly question I know but I’m genuinely curious to see if anyone else keeps their sugar bag closed once they’ve opened it. I’ve always kept it open and never gave it a second thought about it until yesterday my counselor made a comment about my open bag of sugar and how it’s apparently supposed to be kept closed. It’s been driving me nuts ever since so I’m asking

Um, sealed in  a container.  People really just leave sugar out in the open?  Have you heard of bugs?

well it’s a paper bag so not re-sealable but we roll it up so it is effectively closed.

I put my sugar in a sealed container once it's open. Ants need no invitation and I won't give them one.

For brown sugar we keep it in a glass jar with an air lock seal because it clumps together and gets hard and it’s so hard to break it up. White sugar I just roll the bag down
