Does it make you feel awkward to tell other woman happy mother's day?

I feel awkward telling other woman to have a happy mother's day because they aren't MY mother. I didn't know if anyone else felt this way? I still tell them it just makes me feel Awkward. I know that they are a mother even though they may not be mine so the concept still applies to them though. 🤷‍♀️

No. I don’t feel awkward wishing someone else a happy holiday. Like, happy Mother’s Day, literally I’m just wishing happiness for the day celebrating you. I don’t have to even celebrate a holiday myself to recognize someone else observe it and wish them well for their day.

No not at all. It's a holiday for ALL Mother's. Not just your Mother. My friends wish me a Happy Mother's Day every year. This Morning I woke up to 15  Happy Mother's Day texts. It always makes me feel great!!!

Not at all. I only have one friend who is also a mom so it was fun for me to text her happy Mother’s Day. There’s a sense of camaraderie for us being the first two of our friend group to have a baby. And both of ours first Mother’s Day.

I've never done this. It wouldn't have happened a few years back. I'm not a mother and like you would only do it to my mother I think. Maybe it's different in different countries.
