Did my blood type cause my miscarriage?

I did not know I was RH negative until I gave blood around 8 weeks of pregnancy. Unfortunately I lost the baby at 9 weeks. I know I’m supposed to get the Rhogam shot but they never mentioned it. Could this have caused my miscarriage?

Most likely not. They gave me the shot after I miscarried for future pregnancy. I got pregnant again next month. I’m now 21 weeks. Good luck. Sorry for your loss.

No it’s very unlikely unless the baby’s blood mixed with yours both this time and in a previous pregnancy
