My daughter hit her head...

My sweet 13 month old daughter was standing on the hardwood today. She was drinking from her sippy and spitting the water out (I hate this so much). She apparently had made a puddle on the floor, then proceeded to slip in it and fall backwards. She hit her head pretty hard. She didn’t cry for long and she acted normal. She got a decent sized bump though.

I called the nurse line and they weren’t overly concerned. They told me what to watch for and such. They said since it was her bedtime, I would need to wake her in two hours and check her. They said make sure she could move her limbs, open her eyes, and that she recognized me.

I did this, but it was hard. She was in a very deep sleep (because she sleeps great). It honestly pained me to wake her. I picked her up, finally got her to open her eyes. She didn’t cry, so I assume she recognized me? She was able to move and everything.

My husband doesn’t think I did a good enough job and that it’s not good that she was in a deep sleep. Now I am worried.

Has anytime experienced? Do you think she is okay? She played normally after. Never vomited. Could walk and such, wasn’t overly fussy. She ate a snack. I can’t sleep because I am worried.
