Is it wrong of me?

Question

My husbands cousin is having a wedding this July and his family really wants us to go. But I don’t think we should since 
A) it is 7 hours away from where we live
B) I will be 9 months pregnant by that time and about ready to pop
C) I also have a 1 1/2 year old that would be traveling 7 hours in a car for a wedding....
It’s not anything against anyone I just feel like it is not a good idea for any of those circumstances to go. Uncomfortable for me, for my baby and for my husband having to deal with my pregnant crabby ass sitting in a car for 7 hours haha

Good news is, most OBs don't want you further away from the hospital/wherever you're giving birth that close to your due date. I was told the last month not to go anywhere more than an hour away from the hospital. Because I lived 20 mins away at the time. But was asked to stay as close as I could and not to go more than an hour away. That's what I'd tell them. I'd love to be there but this is what my OB is suggesting so sorry, we won't be able to make it. Nice easy out, you don't have to feel like you're hurting anyone's feelings.

You shouldn’t be going anywhere let alone a wedding the virus hasn’t gone anywhere and this is just stupid of him. I’m 28 weeks and absolutely not would I go to a wedding in July I’m not going anywhere until my child is at least 2 months old it’s to dangerous

With this virus an you being so far along it's not a good idea to for you to go. All weddings are supposed to be canceled unless it's under a group of 10. There's also a kid virus coming around.

I would not go especially with a baby right now during all this covid crap. I probably wouldn't go to the wedding at all even if i weren't pregnant, just because it's not safe. You have every right not to go, that's totally reasonable. Send a nice gift and card and let them know you're sorry you're missing it but you have to be safe.

No, don’t go and your husband shouldn’t go either. Imagine you went into labor while he was gone, who would look after your toddler? Who would be your support person? This all just seems like an awful awful poorly thought out idea with serious lack of consideration for anyone else but your husband. Also who tf is getting married in July right now? Are they living in a fucking bubble or what?

Thanks for all the input. My husband is in support of us not going. It’s his family that isn’t and I guess I just felt guilty for making the choice for us. I really shouldn’t feel guilty though but his family is pretty pushy about us going

That’s a hard no from me. Not only is it a bad idea for you to be seven hours away from your doctor that far along, but think about how uncomfortable you’d be in that car. The toddler is just the icing on the cake. Nope. Nope. Nope. Don’t feel bad about it either.
