Rebuilding towns?

Should the towns destroyed by riots be rebuilt or just left like they are? If you’re living in one of those towns do you plan to move away in the future?

Obviously they will need to be rebuilt not everyone can afford to move or has the physical ability to move

They’ll be rebuilt but they’ll likely not be the same for decades if ever. A lot of small businesses won’t recover and a lot of corporations won’t bother reopening.  A lot of business insurance policies exclude “civil unrest” in their damage policies and companies, especially small businesses won’t be getting any help from their insurance.

I predict a lot of big businesses won’t rebuild and some smaller ones might move locations not reopen at all. I feel like the town might have a supply shortage and people will be hurting for work

What normally happens is the people clean all the trash up, and the city pays people to clean up the trash, like they always do after events happen, and the businesses all leave and move elsewhere and no new businesses come in so then theres a lot of buildings with plywood windows and the town never gets rebuilt to how it was before. And honestly thats there own faults.

I believe when this happened a few years ago they got things cleaned up but the issue was the economy of the town. All the major retailers pulled out and didn’t bother to rebuild. While I think shopping local is awesome, those big stores bring a lot of revenue. The town never really did bounce back and it’s been quite a few years.

People have been out helping clean up the city and construction crews have been out repairing roads that were destroyed. We live just outside the city but we plan to eventually move to the rural areas away from other people when my son finishes high school. That’s been our plan before all of this happened. Much safer outside of the city and suburbs and peaceful.
