Screw all the 'plans'!

Hey mommies, just had to put this out there as a FTM to a perfect 6 day old baby boy.

I had a plan. A plan for everything. From L&D to bringing him home. I knew how I wanted everything to go. I was prepared.

Then this little man decided he had his own plans. The last 6 days have taught me to just roll with it. Screw the plan, toss it aside. He is happy, finally gaining weight, and awesome. My husband and I are exhausted but it is so worth it.

Know what you want as far as preferences, but don't be afraid to let those go as your baby really dictates the plan.

This cat is also exhausted, he's up for every feed with us around the clock and wakes up looking just as haggard as my husband and I do. 🤣 (and no, baby isn't scared, hes pooping 😄)
