Getting enough?

My LO is a month old and he usually eats 35-45 mins sometimes longer... A few weeks ago he was eating about 20-30mins. Is it normal for him to wanna eat that long?? Im starting to pump every now and then to start a stash and today I only got 1 oz out of my "good" boob and that has me worried he's not getting enough.

You'll worry about this all the time but your body does make enough. Wet diapers and weight gain just pay attention to that.

Your pump tells you nothing about how much milk you're really making. Maybe you're just a person for whom pumps don't work well. If so and you want to get a stash built up you might want to try manual expression. But as long as baby isn't dehydrated baby is getting enough. Wet diapers and a lack of chapped lips is all you need to see to know that baby isn't starving.

As long as they're not hollowing their cheeks out, have frequent wet diapers, you're fine. Pumping isn't always an indication. If they're on the breast, your body should provide enough
