How soon would you expect to be paid back?

So I went on a mini road trip with some friends and I drove. We all got back super late last night but when dropping everyone off I told them to cash app me funds for toll and gas. It hasn’t been a full 24hrs yet but I’ve been in situations before where I end up having to text people to “remind” them to pay me back. How soon would you expect to be paid back if you were me? I was going to give it a full day.

So I wouldn’t expect money unless it was agreed on beforehand. But I’d definitely not trip if it wasn’t there by the next day. I’d give them a week and then I’d send a very nice but not passive aggressive reminder.

Depends on their money situation. 
Personally I don’t go anywhere or do anything unless I have the money for it plus extra available to me at that time, but a lot of people don’t have that luxury/privilege.

Honestly I expect my friends not to pay me back and they do too unless it’s like a super large amount of money and I normally just say as soon as they can and if I do get my money back it takes about a month or 2 since most people get paid at the end of the month.
