Lover

There’s the guy... I’ve known him since 6th grade and he’s always had a thing for me. We got disconnected years ago until we reconnected in our teens. He’s always been supportive of me. We traveled the world together in the college prep program we were in.. we never decided to be together because we weren’t ready. He used to tell me he felt like I was too good for him and he didn’t want to hurt me. Fast forward to now, we’re adults who had our first date and kiss a couple of days ago. We talked about expectations, careers, God, and relationships. We’re almost like love twins. We’re on the same page. He’s a father now with two kids so if we were to work things out, (marriage is clear) I’d be a step parent. What advice would you give ? Would you take the chance ?
