Can an ultrasound be wrong!?

Hi gals. I had a missed miscarriage last august and in May we found out we were expecting again, yay!

After my first missed miscarriage my doctor wanted me to come in every week for an ultrasound to check on things. I went in last week for an ultrasound and everything was PERFECT. Heart beat was there and my levels were great! I went in this Monday and no heartbeat. The doctor said it was though it had happened that morning because the baby was measuring perfect.

I still have all majority of my symptoms, no spotting at all. Could it be possible the ultrasound was wrong!? I realize this is a desperate question but I really don’t want to lose another one.
