How to tell my bf I have herpes?

Me and my bf have been together for 4 months now and I don’t wanna mess anything up but I juts got tested and i have herpes. He’s said before that if he ever had it he’d be super upset and now that I found out that I have it I’m scared to tell him. What should I do ??

If you're sexually active with him you NEED to tell him because it's illegal not to disclose that information especially if it's been passed onto him already! He has a right to know so that he can go and get tested.

Are you sexually active with him? Did you have them before you started dating? Did HE give them to you? Because that’s a weird statement to make he’d be pissed if you gave him herpes.

Tell him the results and he can get a test, if wanna make sure ypu two can take a second one after 3 months. Unless he has done one test very recently before start to date you and you also had done it right before him there is no way to say who gave to who. It is stupid argument. You would have to be testing for herpes every 3 months to make sure you are clean or track who gave it to who, not even mentioning you would have to be with the same partner for time along.
Talk to your doctor, there are medication you can take to keep the virus "quiet" without outbreaks. Good luck!!
