Birth control time

So I just started on birth control pills for the first time in my life. I’m taking a combination pill, Estarylla. The day I was supposed to start it I wanted to start at noon on Sunday, since that’s around the time I wake up. But I wasn’t able to take it til later so I started it at 5.

I think I’m just paranoid that I’ll accidentally do it wrong. Has anyone had experience taking it at different times of the day? Like what if I took it at 3pm some days? Obviously I wouldn’t go too crazy like taking it at 8am instead. Or what if im napping and I don’t wake up til around 6? Will that really fuck me up?

I just want to know if anyone has had any experience taking the pill at slightly different times. I’m a responsible person, I’m just curious if taking it at slightly different times has ever messed badly with anyone.

Also when I go back to work and school, my schedule is gonna be so all over the place. I never work at the same time every day it’s always changing. So I’m just nervous about that. Thank u:)
