Just need to vent about horrible patient care... would you get a lawyer involved?

So did back story I have gone through 2 miscarriages in the last couple months. I went to this particular doctor for a preconception appointment in January of this year and she did a preconception panel of bloodwork that didn’t include Rh factor. First of all I’ve always had to call into the office to get results or get answers about my results. Which isn’t too bad, I didn’t mind. But I read after my second miscarriage that Rh factor can cause recurring miscarriage if you don’t get the rhogam shot following your first miscarriage because the blood from the miscarriage sensitizes your body to Rh positive blood and almost always causes subsequent miscarriage. So I called Kell when I read that and made an appointment because I couldn’t talk to her directly obviously. So I go into the appointment today and she didnt even remember who I was. I told her what I read about Rh and miscarriage and she turned white and started flipping through the paperwork really fast like “oh you must have been seeing another doctor during you first miscarriage, that’s the first thing I look at when someone miscarries” and I was like nope... been with you guys since my preconception visit in January. And she was so embarrassed and kept apologizing. She said yeah that’s probably why you miscarried the second time. I can’t believe I missed that”

I’m so pissed and sad that this wasn’t caught sooner.
