reoccurring uti

In november I lost my virginity to my then boyfriend (no condom) a few days later i had UTI symptoms and i went to the clinic to get checked and they couldn’t rule if it was one or not but treated it that way. i took meds and it still came back, i went in again and they said i had BV, this was a month later. then another time it was a UTI. Every now and then i still get them. I have never had this problem before losing my virginity. i just was wondering if it could be something on his end, because like i said i’ve never had this problem before. any help is really appreciated
