39 +6 baby girl is here!!

June 25th at 8:51pm our little bundle of joy entered this world. Here was the quick summary of her birth for those wanting to know!

June 23rd- 80% effaced 1cm dilated (been that way for weeks) got a membrane sweep

June 25th-

8am lost mucus plug and had bloody show.

9am started having contractions far apart

11am doc thought it might be something so she had me come in, checked me said I was barely 2cm so she stripped my membranes again.

1:30pm couldnt handle the contractions anymore went into L&D

2:30pm they checked me and I was almost 3cm. Doc got excited saying that's great change.

3:30pm they admitted me into L&D assuming early labor. Labored in the Jacuzzi until 4:30pm. (Contractions were only 3:30 apart and lasting 40 secs each) but still only 3cm, first bag of waters broke.

5:30pm they gave me IV pain meds while prepping me for epidural.

6:30pm (had epidural) the pain was still the same with every contraction and I was worried epi wasnt working. Nurse checked me turns out I was 9cm dilated and my second bag of waters broke.

7:50pm she checked me and I was at 10cm and ready to practice push.

8:10pm doc showed up as my practice pushes were good. Only 40 mins worth of pushing and she was out!

8:51pm Penelope Jane-May Stitt has come into the world. 💗💗
