Am I in the wrong?

My boyfriend and I had plans on seeing each other tonight. He said he had a phone call with a lifetime friend, after waiting a couple hours I texted him at 11:30pm asking what was happening. I was getting “yes” but then an “i don’t know” so I asked again if it was for sure he was coming as I just wanted to know so I could go to sleep or not. He then got extremely rude and started calling me annoying and saying I didn’t respect his time etc. He made me feel awful for it, when I really just wanted to know what was going on so I wasn’t up really late at night.

He made me feel as if I was a bad person for this and it’s really confusing me because I don’t think it required the negative response he gave me.

Am i that in the wrong for asking this? or is he in the wrong for how he reacted?
