Baby mamas. Am I overreacting???

Question

New to dating a person with kids. Been together for almost a year. He has 2 kids. 2 different bms. Correct me if I’m overreacting but is it normal for him and his baby mama to take his son out together? Drive in the same car to place to place with their son?
At least this specific baby mama and him have a civil relationship. So are they just co parenting or should I keep an eye out?

My ex husband came over to my house for our sons virtual graduation.  We both attend as many of his events together as possible,  if it ever came down to transportation we would make sure the other was able to attend.  If they are able to co parent successfully that's a beautiful thing.   It's important for the child to have both parents involved as much as possible.

I think it’s normal. While I don’t have that civil relationship with my daughters dad I wish that I did because I know she would only benefit from it.

It's completely normal and a very healthy relationship. It's good for their kid to see them together and getting along. It doesn't mean that they have something going or that they will it simply means they care about their child and how it grows up

If they’re in relationships with other people, I think this isn’t normal and should be watched. My SO’s ex needed a ride when her car was malfunctioning and he came and picked me up from work before going to pick her up and take her to pick up her car from the shop. This was fine. She complained to her friends that I’ve got him whipped but in the past we’ve had issues with her tryna break us up and hop back into bed with him. There have also been times when she’s wanted to do activities with him like take “family” pictures and he flat out refused her, because they aren’t a family. 
He says he doesn’t want to disrespect me and our relationship but still wants to help her with things that are for necessary for their kids. A car was necessary; family pics when they aren’t a family aren’t necessary. He met her for their MD appointments when they were little but they didn’t hookup and drive there together. He’s always kept that distance with her.
