Deciding on whether to try vbac

I had my son in March 2018 and was induced and ended up having an emergency caesarean. I had a bleed and they were worried my placenta was ruptured and baby was too high so that’s why I ended up having an emergency caesarean.

I am due December and leaning towards having a planned caesarean rather than trying vbac. Has anyone just opted to have a caesarean the 2nd time or tried for a vbac? They said if I end up having to be induced again, I can’t have the drip like last time as the risk of scar reopening is high.
